How do I apply for lesbian and bisexual film production work with Girls on Girls?
Use the application form on our home page. It takes about five minutes. After you submit, you will be contacted by us or by our recruiting partner, usually within three working days, to discuss next steps.
Do I need experience to apply for lesbian adult film work?
No. Around half the performers we cast each year are new to the industry. New performers get a fuller onboarding conversation with our recruiting partner, a smaller first booking, and a mentor on set. Established performers are equally welcome.
How much do lesbian adult film scenes pay in the UK?
Pay starts at £150 per hour for girl-on-girl scenes with us. Most bookings pay more than that, depending on scene length, exclusivity, partner pairing and your experience. Every booking has the rate confirmed in writing before you commit, with no on-the-day renegotiation.
Is producing adult content legal in the UK?
Yes. Producing adult content in the UK is legal where every performer is 18 or over, has consented to the work, and is properly verified. We comply with the UK Online Safety Act age-assurance provisions, GDPR, HMRC requirements for self-employed performer payments, and the standard adult-industry STI testing protocols.
What ID do I need to apply?
A valid government-issued photo ID showing you are 18 or older. We accept a UK passport, EU passport, UK driving licence or another government photo ID. ID is verified before any booking is confirmed, not at initial application.
Will my real name appear publicly?
No. You can apply under a stage name and use a stage name on every published credit. Your legal name is only required at contract for HMRC and ID verification, and is held under restricted access.
Can I apply as a couple wanting to perform together?
Yes. We cast established couples regularly and the process is the same. Both partners are individually contracted and individually paid. Mention on the form that you are applying as a couple.
I'm trans or non-binary, can I apply?
Yes. Cis, trans and non-binary women and femme performers are all welcome. Our briefs are written around chemistry and performance, not narrow casting boxes.
I'm bisexual or bi-curious rather than strictly lesbian, can I apply?
Yes. You do not have to identify as lesbian to apply. If you're a bisexual or bi-curious woman who enjoys (or is open to) performing girl-on-girl scenes, you're exactly who we cast. A meaningful share of women working in lesbian and sapphic adult film identify as bi rather than gay; that has never been a barrier here.
Can I apply if I'm in a straight relationship or married to a man?
Yes. Your relationship status outside the work doesn't affect your application and we don't ask about it during casting. Many of the women we cast are in long-term relationships with men and perform with women on screen as paid work. We do ask that you have your partner's informed agreement before any booking, simply because it tends to make the working relationship cleaner.
Do I need to look a certain way? What body types and looks do you cast?
We cast all body types, all heights, all hair colours, all skin tones, all ages from 18 upwards. There is no preferred look, no preferred dress size, no preferred body shape. Around half the women we cast each year are first-time performers without any of the curated "porn look" that some studios screen for. Real women, all of them.
I'm based outside London, is travel covered?
Most of our shoots are in London and the South East, but we cast UK-wide and travel from anywhere in the UK is reimbursed. International travel is arrangeable on a case-by-case basis for established performers.
What happens to the content after a shoot?
We sell only to a small number of vetted UK and EU adult platforms. We do not upload to public tube sites and do not sell to platforms with a poor record on leaks. Distribution terms are set out in writing in your contract before any shoot.
Can I do solo content with you, or only girl-on-girl?
Solo lesbian-themed content is part of our catalogue, so yes. The studio focus is lesbian and sapphic content overall, and that includes solo work in that aesthetic. We do not produce mixed-gender content.
How long does the application-to-shoot timeline take?
Typically two to four weeks from initial application: three working days to first reply, then ID verification and contract paperwork, and one to two weeks to schedule a first booking. Faster turnarounds are possible if there's a specific upcoming production that fits.
Is the application confidential?
Yes. Applicant information is read only by our casting team and our recruiting partner, who handle applications under written data-processing terms. It is not shared with any other parties, and is held under restricted access in UK-resident infrastructure. If you withdraw your application or we don't move forward, your information is deleted on request.
